USA to Canada Customs
What is this?
The USA to Canada Customs block provides the ability to identify parties
involved in the shipment, and send details required by Canada Customs
to transport shipments in bond and expedite customs clearance.
When is it used?
Required for all shipments originating or transiting the
United States destined to Canada for consumption or for
furtherance to another country.

Cargo Control Numbers (Less than Load)
Allows users (with this role) to provide up to 500 Cargo Control Numbers for Loaded Intermodal Shipments which are originating in USA and destined to Canada. This block will be enabled when the following conditions are met
When the following conditions are met, the Cargo Control Numbers (Less than Load) fields within the USA - Canada customs block will be displayed when:
- Shipment must originate in USA and be destined to Canada
- Pattern / Draft contains the Intermodal and USA-Canada Customs Block
- Must be for a loaded shipment
- Intermodal Block must contain the Service Type to properly determine the origin/destination of the shipment.
- Must be for a single container.
Cargo Control Numbers can be provided by:
- Inputting the values in the USA to Canada block in the Cargo Control Number field
- Copy/Paste
- Upload
Accepted file formats for Upload:
Note: For Copy/Paste and Upload the Cargo Control Numbers must be separated by either:
- Colon
- Semi-Colon
- Carriage Return/Linefeed
