Price Documents Response

This page displays a list of retrieved price documents that have met your search criteria.

The Sub-Title on the page will describe the types of documents being selected, for example: "Keywords: Toronto AND Memphis"

The list offers the following features:

Column Purpose
New The "New" icon will be displayed next to the reference number of documents that have been loaded in the last seven days.
Reference This is the reference number by which this document is catalogued by CN, also known as the Tariff or Contract number. Clicking on the link will display the document.
Description This will describe the contents of the document and will aid you in deciding whether to open the document for review.
All Versions If you click on the document icon you can see expired or future versions of this document.
Subscribed Indicates whether you have subscribed to receive update notifications for this document. To update your subscription, check (or uncheck) the box, then press the Update Subscription button at the bottom of the page.
Update Subscription Press this button to apply changes made to your subscriptions on this page. Any documents without a check in the subscribed column will not be part of your subscription service and those that are checked will result in notification the next time the document is updated.
Download Documents Allows you to select the documents you wish to download into an Excel spreadsheet by checking the boxes in the "Download" column. When you click on the "Download" button, two things will happen:
  • You will be taken to a new "My Downloads" page where you will be able to track the progress of your download and retrieve the results.
  • You will be notified via email once the download completes.
Notes:
  • You can download rates from any authority – private or public (open tariff).
  • Only current and future authority rates can be downloaded.
  • You can download rates from more than one authority. However, if you select multiple authorities, open tariffs cannot be selected. They can only be downloaded one authority at a time.
  • If you select the download checkbox of a public tariff, then another document, you will get a message that will tell you that you can only download one public tariff at a time. If you click OK, only the public tariff will remain selected and if you click Cancel, only the other document(s) will remain selected.
  • You can download a maximum of 45,000 rates. If this limit is reached, the page being displayed will give you a warning message.
  • If more than one document was selected, then you will be asked to unselect one or more documents and try again.
  • If you selected only one document, you will be asked to contact your Account Manager if you require a copy of the rates because the given document is too large to download.
Previous/Next If more than 25 publications match your criteria, the first 25 publications are displayed and links are provided at the top and bottom of the list to navigate between the pages.

Note: If you change the subscription or download checkboxes (check or uncheck) and click on the page navigation links, before clicking on "Update" or "Download", you will get the a warning message. The message will tell you that you will lose your changes if you go to the next page without first clicking on "Update" or "Download".
