Bad Order / Mechanical Defect Codes

What is this?

When a transport vehicle becomes mechanically unfit to continue moving, a Bad Order or Mechanical Defect code is reported. The code is displayed in the TRAIN/BO/HLD column in the Location and ETA output formats.

In the Equipment or Reference output view, a red exclamation mark will appear next to the Equipment ID if there is a delay. The reason for delay will appear if you hold your mouse over the red exclamation mark.

When is it used?

This will be accompanied by an Event Code of B. When the defect is repaired an event code of G will be reported.

An Estimated Time to Repair (ETR) will be shown if the repair can be estimated.
