Report Heading Description
Reference

The reference id that you entered.
The type of Reference ID that matched your input is shown in parentheses. See the Reference Codes help for the types supported.
Equipment

The marks (railroad initials and number) stenciled on the railcar, trailer or container.

This column will contain a red exclamation mark () if there is a delay. The reason for delay will appear if you hold your mouse over the icon. Delays are caused by one of:

  • the shipment being placed in hold, usually requiring instructions from you. See the Hold Codes for more details.
  • the equipment being damaged and placed in bad order for repair. See the Bad Order / Mechanical Defect Codes for more details.
Status
  1. load/empty status of the equipment
  2. the last event reported.
  3. the current Location City
  4. the day, month, hour, minute, and time zone of the last event.
Customs

Indicates the Customs Status. This column contains the following information:

  1. the last event reported for that equipment/trip
  2. the day, month, hour, minute displayed in eastern time for that event

The last 3 current/recent events reported for that equipment/trip will be displayed in chronological order.

Displays one of the following values:

  1. Shipment Arrived in Canada
  2. CBSA Exam Required
  3. CSA Goods Shipment
  4. Broker Filed PARS
  5. Cleared if the customs acquittal number is present
  6. Hold if the customs acquittal number is missing
  7. Remanifest to Freight Forwarder: custom control is transferred to Freight Forwarder
Location
  • The train that is carrying the shipment. A train id appears as "40224".
  • The track on which a shipment is located. A track number appears as "HT02" and the sequence of the equipment on the track as "002".
  • The carrier to or from which the shipment has been received. The carrier initials will be displayed.
Destination The Destination City and Province/State.
ETA The Estimated Time of Arrival, made up of:
  1. The expected event reported at the ETA city
  2. The ETA city and Province/State.
  3. The estimated day, month, hour, and minute of the event (in local time).
  4. For Intermodal to Door Plans:
    • "NO APPOINTMENT" indicates that an Appointment date and time has not yet been scheduled.
    • "APPOINTMENT CONFIRMED" indicates that an appointment has been scheduled and confirmed.
    • "APPOINTMENT TO BE RESCHEDULED" indicates that a scheduled appointment cannot be met and a new date and time has to be rescheduled.

    Note: If an ETA cannot be generated to destination the ETA City may not match the Destination.
Carrier Initials of the carrier that reported this event.
